WE GLADLY WELCOME OTHER SPECIALTIES
Practice Care utilizes independent reimbursement consultants to train and familiarize us with all rules, regulations, and scenarios specific to any specialty.
FEES
We invoice monthly based on a percentage of the receipts the client received for that month. Our fee is based upon specialty, payer mix, volume, and of course how much work & cost is involved on our end. For example, a primarily commercial based practice (where almost all claims are sent
electronically and paid on first run) will always be on the lower end of our fee scale compared to a workers compensation/no fault practice (which involves paper claims & extra attachments as well as authorizations and a substantial appeal process and often the involvement of collection attorneys for No Faults denied by IMEs). Our fee range is 6-10% of receipts depending upon all components mentioned above.
It is extremely important to know that revenue cycle management is not just filing claims. A billing service that quotes you 2-4% for their services is most likely only filing the claims for you and not performing follow-up and appeals with insurance companies or making sure your patients pay their responsible amounts (this is where a substantial amount of receipts can be obtained & a billing service should excel at this). 70% of incorrectly processed claims do not get followed-up or appealed in healthcare practices. PCMG does appeals on every single incorrectly processed claim and follow-up on every claim to ensure that our clients receive every penny they are due.
DISASTER & RECOVERY PLANNING
We have a thorough disaster recovery plan with three levels of data backup and have 4 locations across the United States- we do not have one central location.
